Yes they are. In fact, bow ties are often preferred for wearing on more formal occasions, especially if it’s black tie; it’s typically paired with a tuxedo. But they can also be worn with a suit for a fancy event, elevating your look with a bit of elegance and sophistication.

Yes. The standard size for a pocket square falls between 10”x10” or 17”x17”. A pocket square made from silk may be 16 or 17 inches; because they’re lighter weight, they need to be bigger to hold their shape when folded. Linen squares have a bit more heft, so they can be smaller.
To make a tie stand out, play with color and pattern. Choose a tie in a color that contrasts with the color of your shirt. Think in terms of opposites on the color wheel (burgundy tie with a light blue shirt) or different shades in the same family. Also, try patterns with a solid color shirt.
Yes, every Canadian province is covered. Free standard shipping applies to orders over $125, and a flat rate of $10.99 applies to anything under that. Please note that Caswell’s Fine Menswear doesn't currently ship to the U.S. due to tariffs
Hang ties on a tie rack between wearings so they keep their shape. Pocket squares are best stored folded flat in a drawer. A stubborn crease in a tie usually relaxes overnight on a hanger. If that doesn’t work, a light steam or a trip to the dry cleaner's does the job.
